The Famous Grouse Festival
The inaugural Famous Grouse Festival kicked off on the 12th of August 2011, marking the end of a special year, 30 years of being the market leader.
The festival was held at the site of the Famous Grouse distillery, situated in the heart of the Scottish countryside in Crieff and was head lined by NME Winners, Glasvegas.
Many other Scottish acts featured at the 2 day festival such as Manran, Skerryvore, Donnie Monroe, Michael Marra, Eric Faulkner, Jill Jackson and the Gospel Truth Choir from Glasgow.
The FOH PA duties were performed by a Logic System VA Line Array with 6 x VA Elements, 2 x ND315 Bass and 2 x ND218 Subs per side. A number of Logic Systems LM20’s were deployed on-stage for monitor duties, all powered by Matrix and Lab Gruppen amplifiers.
Allen & Heath’s iLive T-112 surfaces with the iDR48 racks were used at both ends. Both racks were fitted with Audinate Dante-M cards to allow us to digitally split the signal between FOH and Monitor world, completely negating the need for a hefty analogue multicore and splits system.

Nadar played a crucial part in project managing the sound and lighting installation of the event. The live event went extremely well on the night and there is no doubt that Nadar and his team played a massive part in it's success'.
